Felt-Making with Andy Evans – Sunday Craft in the Barn
December 15 @ 10:00 - 16:00
In this workshop, we’ll embrace the warmth of wool and discover light amidst the dark winter months. Starting with a 2D picture where we play with colour, then we’ll progress to creating 3D lanterns illuminated by fairy lights or candles.
Andy Evans is a mum of two who has always had a passion for textiles, starting as an avid screen printer. When her daughter was around two, she began making her dresses and gilets from wool and fabric, which deepened her love for creating her own fabrics using multiple mediums, especially wool through wet felting. She finds joy in combining function and beauty; working with the vibrant array of wool colors is deeply fulfilling.
