Our Funders

Since our creation, the majority of our funding has come through private donations and member share purchases. However, we are also extremely grateful to have received grants from the following organisations.

Farming in Protected Landscapes

In 2023 we received £30,772.91 from the FiPL programme to improve landscapes in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We received funding towards the costs of our new barn, signage, gates and fences and tools for our volunteers to use.

The National Lottery Awards for All

In 2021 we received £10,000 from the National Lottery towards improvements to the facilities in our Haven field as well as funding our Family Wild Play Days, which organised low-cost forest school sessions for families during school holidays.

Lifecycle

A big thanks you to LifeCycle for installing five bike racks at Oakbrook Community Farm in July 2024. They will hopefully encourage more people to visit the Farm by bicycle. They represent an important initial step in ensuring that the Farm is accessible to a wider group of users.

The Tree Council

In 2023 we received £2630.31 The Tree Council as part of their Network Rail Community Tree Planting Programme, to support us in planting basketry Willow, fruit trees in our orchard, tree hay for our dairy and hazel coppice for our Zerodig project.

Renishaw

In 2024 we received £500 from Renishaw who kindly donated towards our compost toilets project, which has helped us to provide more tours and events on the farm.
